Thanks for taking such good care of Joey. I wasn't sure how he would react, but you were all great with him! He reminds us every morning that he has to brush his teeth and at night he tells me to pretend I'm Dr. Connell. He pretends the toilet is the dentist chair and I floss his teeth and then he makes me count them. He then brushes and rinses with the "pink stuff" you gave him. It's too cute.

Children's Dentistry of Bucktown & Wicker Park has actually found a way to make going to the dentist fun! My 4-year-old daughter jumps up and down when it is time to go and see Dr. Connell, even when she knows she is getting a cavity filled. Dr. Connell and her staff cater to the needs of your child and use fun, age appropriate techniques to explain what is going to happen during the visit and will careflly show which tools (Mr. Whistle and Mr. Bumpy) will be used for any procedure. Take all of these great things and top it off with your child's choice of DVDs to watch in the exam chair and you will find that you have a child that is excited about both going to the dentist and learning long-term habits for good oral health. I was nervous to take my almost 2-year-old to her first dental visit. Surprisingly, she enjoyed it! Since our trip to see Dr. Connell, my daughter has been more patient about brushing her teeth and she is actually enthused about flossing. Our experience in the office and it's positive effects will keep us coming to see Dr. Connell even though we have moved to the suburbs.
We have been twice with our 5 year old and 2 year old twins. They love the dentist! I love the clean office, great waiting room and quick service. We couldn't be more pleased!

Dr. Connell's staff is also friendly and helpful with scheduling, billing and insurance questions. The waiting room is comfortable for kids and adults. Parking is easy on North Ave. We are so happy to have an amazing pediatric dentist in Bucktown. We highly recommend the practice.
