We are proud to introduce our new permanent pediatric dental associate, Dr. Lynse Briney who came on board with us in July 2011!
Dr. Briney grew up in Bartonville, a small town in central Illinois. She moved to Chicago in 2001 to attend Dental School at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
After graduating from dental school in 2005 she completed a General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Lincoln Park. There she received additional training in all the dental specialties as well a great deal of experience treating patients with special needs. It was there that she discovered how much she enjoyed treating children, special needs patients and those with dental anxiety.
Dr. Briney practiced general dentistry in the Chicago-land area for 3 years. She worked in private practice and with underserved children. Working with children was when she was happiest, therefore in 2009 she returned to UIC to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry and completed her 2-year residency in July 2011. Dr. Briney continues to work part-time at the Children's Dental Clinic in Oak Park as an adjunct clinical professor for UIC.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society.
We are thrilled to have Dr. Briney on board to continue to provide quality pediatric dental care to all of our wonderful patients.
